Sample: 612,000+ active CheapSell sellers, Q1 2024 – Q4 2024. We compared each seller's gross sales and platform fees paid on CheapSell against the counterfactual of selling the same units, at the same final prices, on a single major marketplace (eBay, Poshmark, or Mercari). Average savings = (single-channel fees paid) – (actual CheapSell-orchestrated fees paid), per seller, per quarter. Excludes shipping labels, payment processing, and ad spend. What does the Free tier actually include — and is the 50-listing cap real?
Free covers up to 50 active listings across all 9 connected marketplaces, with no time limit — not a 14-day trial, not a countdown. Cross-listing, the auto-repricer (on the Free tier it refreshes every 60 minutes vs. every 4 minutes on paid plans), barcode scanning, and the iOS/Android apps are all included. The moment you cross 50 active listings, new ones queue as drafts until a slot opens or you upgrade — nothing gets deleted, nothing goes dark.
Are there any fees CheapSell charges on top of my subscription?
No transaction fees, no listing fees, no percentage of your sale price. Your subscription is the only charge from us — ever. Marketplace fees (e.g. eBay's final value fee, Poshmark's commission) are set by those platforms and passed through at payout; we don't add a cent on top. The only optional paid add-on is Market Intel, our competitor-floor analytics dashboard, at $9/mo on any plan.
Can I switch between Free, Pro, and Scale without losing my listings?
Yes. Upgrades take effect instantly — Pro features (the 4-minute reprice cycle, bulk relist, scheduled delists) unlock the moment your card is charged, and your existing 50+ listings stay live. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, so you've already paid for what you're using. If you drop from Pro back to Free and you're holding more than 50 active listings, the surplus moves to draft status (not deleted) and you can relist any of them as slots open up.
How does billing work — monthly, annual, and what's the cancel policy?
Both Pro ($29/mo) and Scale ($79/mo) bill monthly by default, charged on the same calendar day you signed up. Switch to annual at any time and you'll pay $290/yr (Pro) or $790/yr (Scale) — that's two months free. You can cancel from Settings → Billing in two clicks; cancellation is immediate, no "are you sure" gauntlet, no retention call. We don't offer refunds on partial months, but your plan stays active through the period you've already paid for.
Which marketplaces does CheapSell actually cover, and is Vinted or Curtsy available?
Nine live integrations today: eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, Etsy, Shopify, Grailed, and Kidizen. Vinted and Curtsy are in private beta — request access from your dashboard and our integrations team typically onboards new beta testers within 5 business days. Every integration is built and maintained by our 22-person engineering team in Austin; we don't rely on third-party middleware, which is why the 12-second cross-list holds up across all nine at once.
Am I locked into a contract, and what happens to my inventory if I cancel?
No contracts, ever. Month-to-month, cancel-anytime on Pro and Scale; no commitment on Free. If you cancel, your CheapSell account stays read-only for 90 days — you can export your full listing history (CSV), reconnect to relist old items, or pull performance reports. After 90 days the account archives but your data isn't deleted for 7 years, in line with standard tax-record retention. Your live marketplace listings are unaffected unless you explicitly delist them.
